*Full Job Description* *Medical Office Assistant (MOA)* We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. *Job Responsibilities:* * *Appointment Coordination:* Answering calls, scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling appointments, as well as booking specialty tests. * *Patient Chart Management:* Updating patient records, uploading medical results, managing faxes, and coordinating with other healthcare providers, including family doctors. * *Administrative Duties:* Assisting senior MOAs with referrals, faxes, and biopsy organization. * *Patient Interaction:* Checking in patients, data entry, and ensuring appointments are confirmed. * *Office Maintenance:* General exam room cleaning, preparing, and stocking medical and office supplies. * *Communication:* Receiving and making appointment calls. * *Office Equipment Use:* Proficient in faxing, printing, and scanning documents. *Assets:* * Experience with EMR systems. (oscar) * Experience in a specialist's office or busy, multi-team member environment. * Ability to organize and prioritize work independently. * Typing speed of 40+ WPM. * Proficiency in *Mandarin, Cantonese, and English* is required. * Timeliness and consistency in work-life management. *Qualifications:* * *Education:* Medical Office Assistant diploma or certification preferred. * *Experience:* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. *Personal Attributes:* * Compassionate and patient-focused, with a friendly demeanor. * Strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism. * Positive attitude and a team-player mindset. * Adaptable and open to feedback and continuous improvement. *What We Offer:* * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Supportive, collaborative work environment. * For full-time employees, extended health benefits after six months of employment. * Wages: $17.85?$21.00 per hour, determined post-interview. *Job Types:* * Full-time, Part-time, Contract *Schedule:* * 7.5-hour shifts * In-person work *Benefits:* * Extended health care for full-time employees We look forward to welcoming a dedicated MOA to our team!
