Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Various locations. On-site customer service. Assembly. Tasks: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required. Order parts and maintain inventory. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Keep maintenance reports and documentation. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications. Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work. Repair and maintain equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Automotive Service Licence (310S). Truck and Coach Service Licence (310T). Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician Red Seal Endorsement. Equipment and machinery experience: Hoses. Hydraulic system. Area of specialization: Mobile equipment. Security and safety: Bondable. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Willing to travel regularly. Valid driver's licence. Travel expenses paid by employer. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Accurate. Client focus.
