IMPERIAL SEED is a growing Manitoba based Forage and Turf Seed company, we are currently inviting resumes for our Evening shift (3:30pm-12am) in our warehouse. The base wage is $18.15 with a $0.50 evening shift premium, after completing the 3-month probation period there is a $0.50 raise. We offer 6% vacation pay (equaling 3 weeks for a full time employee) as well as paid sick days. 100% Employer paid benefits after 6 months (excluding long term disability). We offer an RRSP program that employees are welcome to participate in after 1 year of employment. *No bus access. Those without a license or own transportation will not be considered at this time. Must be responsible for own transportation to Imperial Seed.* Please only apply if you are already located in Manitoba. Applications from other provinces will not be considered. *Working Environment;* * Warehouse is not climate controlled. Temperature changes with the weather. * Steel toe boots (employee provides) are required. Dust masks and coveralls (employer provided) are highly encouraged. *Responsibilities included, but not limited to;* * Operate machinery to package seed according to specifications provided by the Supervisor, with an average bag weight of 50?55 lbs. * Dump, transfer, and load seed into production lines efficiently and safely. * Clean production equipment and perform required changeover procedures between products. * Manually stack finished product onto pallets, repeatedly lifting loads of up to 55 lbs, and prepare shipments for storage or delivery according to customer specifications. * Accurately label, wrap, and secure finished products to ensure proper identification and stability during storage and transportation. * Accurately document completed work orders and maintain production records. * Prepare retail orders throughout the season, including customer-selected blends, stock blends, and straight products. * Safely operate forklifts and other machinery to put away and retrieve products of various sizes and packaging. * Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure products are stored in their designated locations. * Assist with yard maintenance, warehouse organization, general housekeeping, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. *Requirements* * Motivated with a positive working attitude and able to work as a team. * Takes direction well and clarifies when needed to ensure quality of final product. * Must be physically able to lift up to 55lbs repeatedly. * Strong verbal and written English communication skills required * Able to operate forklifts and pallet jacks, once certified Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $18.65 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking * Paid time off * RRSP match * Vision care Application question(s): * Do you have your own transportation?
