*Objective:* We are hiring Lifeguards to provide safe effective supervision of members in and around the pool area - including prevention of accidents, performance of First Aid and Water Rescue, and to provide quality aquatic instructions to members. *Responsibilities:* * Administer a swim program in accordance with the Red Cross or equivalent program standards and in accordance with facility standards. * Maintain a safe and supervised pool area at all times. * Be familiar with the facility emergency procedures, and to assist in an emergency situation. * Enforce pool rules and health regulations. * Complete all required maintenance duties, chemical tests, and documentation as required. * Report inadequate pool temperature or chemical readings to senior staff immediately. * Maintain all required qualifications. *Required Qualifications:* * National Lifeguard certified * Standard First Aid and CPR C certified * Minimum 16 years of age Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $19.50 per hour Benefits: * Flexible schedule * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Education: * Secondary School (required) Experience: * lifeguarding: 1 year (preferred) Language: * English (required) Licence/Certification: * First Aid / CPR-C Certification (required) * N.L.S.
