Job Description: The Contractor Sales Associate is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with professional contractors, builders, and tradespeople. This role focuses on providing expert product knowledge, accurate estimating, competitive pricing, and exceptional customer service to support contractors project needs from planning through completion. Duties/Responsibilities: - Build and develop new and existing professional relationships with contractors and customers alike.- Provide support to customers in the design of their projects, requirements of blueprints, as well as sourcing of materials and estimates.- Perform material take-offs and provide accurate quotes in a timely manner.- Effectively close sales and provide after sales support as necessary. - Cold calling and prospecting new clientele and accounts. Qualifications:- Must have basic knowledge of building materials and forestry products.- Sales experience is an asset.- Must have working knowledge of computer systems including Word and Excel.- Excellent communication and organizational skills.- Accurate and detail orientated.- Time management skills.- Reliable, self-motivated and willingness to learn.- Experience in a similar position is an asset but will train the right individual.- Some evenings and weekends are required. This position offers unlimited earning potential with a generous base salary plus commissions.
