*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. we are looking for hard working and dedicated people to add to our landscaping team. our team handles the care and maintenance on luxury properties in Muskoka, including spring and fall clean ups and cut backs, planting and mulching gardens, weeding and pruning gardens and plants as needed to maintain beautiful and healthy gardens for our customers our goal is to have a tight knit high quality team that takes pride in doing great work *Duties* * Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting * Utilize hand tools and power tools for planting, trimming, and construction tasks * Conduct gardening activities including soil preparation, fertilization, and pest control * Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency * Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications *Requirements* * Prior experience with landscaping, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required * Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and maintenance is a plus * Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices and horticultural principles is a bonus but training can be provided * Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions * Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team is an absolute must * Valid driver?s license preferred This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about outdoor environments and landscape design.
