The Williston Harbour Landing is a prestigious, Independent Retirement Community looking for an enthusiastic part time Receptionist. You will be the first point of contact, for any guests, visitors or residents entering the community. Must be a professional, friendly & personable individual, keen to work with seniors and in a team focused setting. You will possess excellent communication skills especially with seniors, be able to work independently. Able to take initiative on new ideas and upholding excellent organizational skills are an asset. Experience and education in various office duties, programs, documents and POS system, would be required. You will report to the Administration Assistant and/or Executive Director. Duties would include: - Answering the phone and assisting callers as needed - Assisting residents and any visitors at the community at the Welcome desk - Greeting anyone entering the community at the door and ensuring they are signing in and out - Providing information and taking contact details for anyone inquiring or requesting information about the Community. Tours may be required. - Entering payments and orders for food, store items, guest suites, event room bookings in Touchbistro - Accepting various methods of payment either by cash or moneris transactions, as well as completing daily cash out procedures - Making reservations for dining room meals, event/guest rooms, bus trips, activities, etc. in outlook and document format. - General office duties, filing and creating documents/spreadsheets as required - Taking requests for maintenance and other messages/requests - Managing mail and deliveries - Other duties as assigned and required Criminal record check is required. Shifts would be Monday - Sunday daytime.
