_*Drafting Designer/ Estimator*_ We are seeking a Drafting Designer & Estimator to support our fuel tank and pressure vessel manufacturing team. This role prepares accurate fabrication drawings and detailed cost estimates for new builds and custom projects. _*Responsibilities*_ · Create 2D/3D fabrication drawings using SolidWorks/AutoCAD · Interpret customer specs and applicable codes (ASME, ULC, STI,CSA) · Prepare BOMs and layout drawings · Develop material and labour cost estimates · Work with engineering, production, and procurement to confirm scope and pricing · Update drawings and costs based on revisions or production feedback · Ensure that drawings are in compliance with all relevant codes, standards and customer requirements. · Provide fabrication drawings for manufacturing and DXF or other machining files as needed. · Exercise precise time management skills, multitasking drawing production for all phases on multiple projects, and meeting extremely tight deadlines. · Assist in developing and upgrading structural design library and company product catalog. · Liaise/Coordinate with the Operation?s Manager, Sales, Production, Quality control, and other team members. · The occasional site visit/ inspection may be required. · Other duties and tasks as appropriate to the needs of the corporation _*Qualifications*_ · Diploma/degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Drafting · 3+ years drafting experience in fabrication or tank manufacturing · Proficiency in SolidWorks modeling or AutoCAD is a must. · Experience with estimating in a manufacturing environment · Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes · Must be able to read and understand Structural blueprints and Specifications. · Experience in fabrication environment with CNC software considered an asset. · Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe. · Good written and oral communication skills (English essential). · Ability to recognize and adhere to established deadlines and schedules. · Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and multi-tasking. · Ability to fit into a fast-paced team environment and/or work independently. · A valid driver?s license with a good driving record. _*What We Offer*_ Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours) Salary: $65,000-$85,000 per year Benefits: Dental Care, Vision Care, Extended Healthcare, On-Site Parking, RRSP Match Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking * Paid time off * Vision care Work Location: In person Location Toronto , ON Work location On site Salary $ 65,000 to $ 85,000 YEAR annually Terms of employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10232301948 Various locations Toronto, ON
