JOB DESCRIPTIONAs a Class 1 Truck Driver, you will be a part of the team that provides delivery services for our customers displaying the highest standards of safety and excellent customer service. You will be responsible for monitoring truck maintenance and keeping driver's record requirements such as daily checklist. This job can be physically demanding.RESPONSIBILITIES Follows procedures and demonstrates safe work behaviors Completes reports and paperwork as required related to shipping orders, return of product, vehicle inspections and driving logs Assists in loading vehicles and is responsible for load security Ability to lift up to 75 - 100 lbs Communication as required with customers and dispatch to resolve any issues Deliver materials to private homes and construction sites safely - Materials include Windows and doors, Cement, Shingles, and other building materials Ensure proper vehicle maintenance and report defects, violations, accidents, or injuries Maintain professional behavior QUALIFICATIONS 1 or more Class 1 experience Class 1 license with air brake endorsement Willing to learn how to operate Boom Truck Safety mindset with a willing to learn attitude High attention to detail and strong communication skills Drivers' Abstract Required Location Lower Sackville , NS Work location On site Salary $ 18.00 to $ 35.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time Starts as soon as possible Source CareerBeacon #3361594 Various locations Lower Sackville, NS
