JOB PURPOSEThe Clinical Resource Pharmacist-Oncology is responsible for providing leadership to ensure safe use and effective management of medications for a specific clinical program.QUALIFICATIONSMust be registered with the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists, licensed to practice in New Brunswick, and have demonstrated leadership ability and related work experience (1 year), and/or completion of a post graduate training program.Experience in oncology practice in a hospital setting preferredAbility to attend work on a regular basis.Ability to perform the duties of the position.Good work record.The Clinical Resource Pharmacist is responsible for:Providing advanced clinical servicesTaking a leadership role regarding drug use and clinical practiceLeading and participating in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives, projects and research activitiesProviding mentoring, training and educationActing as a preceptorDevelop, implement, evaluate and enhance the pharmacy service, education program and research initiatives.
