That is why at IMP, you are not defined by your role.Position Overview:The Continuous Improvement Engineer will analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement across aircraft and component maintenance/modification/repair/overhaul, aircraft part manufacture, engineering, supply chain, and project portfolio management activities. Develop and implement improvement initiatives using continuous improvement tools & techniques, working closely with diverse stakeholder groups, often including IT. Measure improvements, set them up to be sustained, communicate results, celebrate successes, and share lessons learned. Promote and develop continuous improvement knowledge and thinking throughout the organization.What You Will Do: Review existing processes, facilities, systems, etc. for potential productivity improvements. Use standard lean, six sigma, and industrial engineering tools/techniques to analyze existing processes and suggest improvements. Perform analysis to identify opportunities, cost-vs-benefit, and make the case for change Assemble and lead teams through the change process Coordinate all activities on implementing approved changes. Provide Project Management on larger projects, including scheduling, project planning, and risk management Prepare documentation including procedures, work instructions, and training materials to support any changes from process improvements. Perform training to educate employees, customers, and others affected by changes. Develop measurements to quantify success of implemented improvements. Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
