We keep our fleet running smoothly across North America and are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented *Semi-Truck Mechanic* to join our shop team. *Position Summary* As a Semi-Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of commercial semi-trucks and trailers. You will play a vital role in ensuring all equipment meets safety standards and operates at peak performance. *Key Responsibilities* * Perform routine preventative maintenance, oil changes, and safety inspections on semi-trucks and trailers. * Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air brake system faults using diagnostic tools. * Repair or replace engines, transmissions, differentials, steering, suspension, and braking systems. * Conduct road tests and quality checks to verify repairs. * Maintain accurate service records and electronic inspection logs in compliance with industry regulations. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. *Qualifications & Requirements* * Proven experience repairing and maintaining heavy-duty trucks (Class 8 / Semi-trucks) and trailers. * Strong diagnostic capabilities using electronic diagnostic software. * Solid understanding of diesel engines, electrical schematics, air brakes, and hydraulic systems. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * *Work Authorization Requirement:* Applicants must currently hold a valid Canadian work permit with *at least 18 months of remaining validity*. *What We Offer* * Competitive hourly wage based on experience. * *LMIA Support:* We are willing to support Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) applications for qualified candidates who hold at least 18 months on their current work permit. * Steady, year-round full-time work. * A collaborative and safety-focused work environment.
