MJC Custom Contracting MJC Custom Contracting LTD is a growing residential renovation and construction company specializing in quality renovations, additions, bathrooms, kitchens, basements, decks, exterior projects, and custom residential construction. We are looking for an experienced Renovation Carpenter who takes pride in their work, can work independently when required, and works well as part of a crew. Responsibilities *Residential framing and structural carpentry * Interior and exterior renovations *Additions and major renovation projects * Kitchen, bathroom, and basement renovations *Decks and exterior carpentry * Installing doors, windows, trim, and finishing materials *Demolition and preparation work * Reading plans, drawings, and measurements *Working alongside other carpenters and trades * Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site *Properly using and maintaining company tools and equipment * Completing work to MJC Custom Contracting's quality standards *Communicating professionally with homeowners, coworkers, and subcontractors * *Requirements * 3-5 years of experience in residential renovations and/or construction *Strong carpentry and general renovation knowledge * Must own basic hand tools required for the trade *Valid driver's licence * Reliable transportation to and from work *Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Comfortable working with power tools and construction equipment *Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install building materials * Good problem-solving skills *Dependable and punctual * Strong attention to detail *Professional attitude when working in customers' homes* Ability to perform physically demanding construction work What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who isn't afraid to work, takes pride in producing quality work, and wants to be part of a growing renovation company.
