Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: - Greet customers as they enter the store - Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate - Accept payments in cash, credit, or check - Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets - Redeem coupons and stamps - Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area - Keep reports of transactions - Upsell products and services - Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner - Cleaning and fronting shelves - General cleaning *- Must be able to give change without the assistance of a device/calculator/till* Qualifications: - Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Basic math skills - Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly - Proficient in using POS terminals - Time management skills *Preferred Skills:* - Technical sales knowledge - Experience with upselling techniques - Excellent customer service skills - Multilingual abilities - Proficient phone etiquette - Previous experience in retail sales - Familiarity with cashiering procedures - Familiarity with Lottery - Fluency in English The position available is for Saturday, Sunday and Stat Holidays 9am to 5pm Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour Benefits: * On-site parking * Store discount Work Location: In person Location Saskatoon , SK Work location On site Salary $ 16.00 to $ 20.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Part time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10231591359 Various locations Saskatoon, SK
