Mission As an Automation Specialist, you will play a key role in the design, programming and commissioning of automated industrial systems for a variety of custom projects. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and programming PLC, HMI and drive systems for automated equipment; Developing electrical schematics and technical documentation; Supporting factory acceptance testing (FAT), equipment commissioning and customer start-ups when required; Providing technical support to engineering, production and field service teams; Troubleshooting automation systems and implementing effective solutions; Participating in continuous improvement initiatives related to automation and engineering practices; Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery. Your profile Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation and PLC programming; Strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley platforms (RSLogix 500, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View ME); Experience with Siemens TIA Portal; Knowledge of Step7, GE or Omron platforms is considered an asset; Experience programming PLCs, HMIs and variable frequency drives; Robot programming experience (FANUC and/or ABB) is an asset; Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical design software is an asset; Fluent in both French and English; Spanish language skills are considered an asset; Strong analytical skills, autonomy and the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
