Job description: * Understand professional wet cleaning / non-toxic dry cleaning, and differences between conventional and our method. * Operate machines to dry-clean dresses, suits, coats, sweaters and other garments, draperies, cushion covers and other articles * Steaming/Ironing all garments and other articles * Understand different temperature for different fabrics * Brushing/pre-treatment/spotting * Sort garments and operate washing machines and dryers to clean and dry clothing, sheets, blankets, towels and other articles * Hand clean suede and leather garments * Operate dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers and blow-drying machines * Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches and other solutions and chemicals * Hand iron laundered fine linens or dry-cleaned silk garments * Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers, and use hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts and other dry cleaned and laundered articles * Assemble and bag finished articles * Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that establishment standards are met * Match invoices or tags with dry-cleaned or laundered articles * Record damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles * Use hand-held steam iron to touch up finished garments and other articles Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 per hour Benefits: * On-site parking * Store discount Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Experience: * Laundry: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person Location Paradise , NL Work location On site Salary $ 18.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10230869782 Various locations Paradise, NL
