Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in estimating commercial painting projects, from small businesses to large-scale commercial properties. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for: Reviewing project specifications, drawings, and blueprints to accurately estimate the cost of materials, labor, and equipment required for each project. Conducting site visits to assess the scope of work, existing conditions, and any potential challenges. Collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure accurate and competitive bids. Preparing comprehensive and detailed estimates, proposals, and bid packages. Negotiating and closing contracts while maintaining profitability and adhering to company policies and procedures. Requirements: Proven experience as a Commercial Painting Contractor Estimator or similar role in the construction or painting industry. Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in estimating software/tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift) preferred. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
