Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Confined spaces. Wet/damp. Work setting: Various locations. Commercial. Industrial. Residential. Construction site. Tasks: Install domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. Repair domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors. Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment. Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing. Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat. Personal suitability: Accurate. Excellent oral communication. Team player. Screening questions: Do you have experience working in this field?. Employment terms options: Early morning. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Employment terms options: Morning. Day. Weekend. Overtime available. Green job: Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes. Support for newcomers and refugees: Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees .
