The Vancouver Fish Company is hiring a seasonal Dishwasher / Kitchen Helper to join our kitchen team. This is a great position for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen. The dishwasher plays an important role in keeping the restaurant running smoothly by making sure dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools are cleaned, dried, organized, and ready for service. The right candidate takes pride in a clean workspace, works well with the kitchen team, and is willing to help with basic prep and cleaning tasks when needed. *Responsibilities* * Wash dishes, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment * Ensure all items are properly cleaned, dried, and stored * Keep the dish area, sinks, floors, and kitchen areas clean and organized * Assist cooks with simple food prep when needed * Take out garbage, recycling, and compost * Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards * Support the kitchen team during busy service periods * Help with closing duties and general cleaning tasks *Qualifications* * Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is an asset * Able to work quickly and stay organized under pressure * Reliable, punctual, and dependable * Positive attitude and willingness to help the team * Able to stand for long periods and lift items as needed * Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required *Position Details* * Seasonal position * Part-time or full-time hours available * Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays * Wage based on experience Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.25-$19.00 per hour Experience: * dishwasher: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person Location Vancouver , BC Work location On site Salary $ 18.25 to $ 19.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10230676327 Various locations Vancouver, BC
