*We are looking for an experienced Skilled Construction Labourer for a construction project in Halifax, NS. * Sibwest Inc. is a reliable and knowledgeable formwork contractor with proven industry expertise. We specialize in formwork and reinforced concrete solutions offering our services to a wide range of building sectors including commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. Covering all parts of Eastern Canada, Sibwest delivers an innovative approach using a range of traditional and modern formwork systems. *Primary Responsibilities: * * Perform general construction labour and various physical duties as assigned * Operate power tools, saws, hammers, and other construction equipment * Maintain all safety standards * Move, secure, install, build, load, or unload materials * Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures * Strip/set up formwork * Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions * Assist in concrete placement and finishing * Assist formwork carpenters on-site *Requirements: * * Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.) * Good hand-eye coordination * Familiarity with power tools and machinery * Communication and teamwork skills * Commitment to safety rules * Minimum 3 years of general labour experience in high-rise setting *Preferred form of application: * * Submit your resume via Indeed _Sibwest Inc. is committed to the principles of equality and diversity in the workplace.
