*Position Summary:* The Receiver is responsible for the accurate and timely receipt, inspection, identification, and storage of incoming materials, components, supplies, and other goods at Hydel Inc. The position ensures that received items are properly verified against purchase orders and shipping documentation, recorded in the inventory system, and made available to the appropriate departments. The Receiver works closely with Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Warehouse teams to maintain accurate inventory and efficient material flow. *Key Responsibilities:* * Receive incoming materials, components, supplies, and other goods in accordance with established procedures. * Verify quantities, part numbers, specifications, and condition of received items against purchase orders, packing slips, and related documentation. * Inspect incoming shipments for damage, shortages, discrepancies, or incorrect items and report issues to the appropriate department. * Accurately enter receiving transactions and related information into the company?s ERP/inventory management system. * Properly identify, label, and organize received materials and ensure they are stored in designated locations. * Ensure received materials are delivered or made available to Production, Quality, Purchasing, or other departments as required. * Maintain accurate receiving records and support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventory activities. * Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, Purchasing, and internal departments to resolve receiving discrepancies when required. * Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment in accordance with training and safety requirements. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving and warehouse area. * Follow all company policies, procedures, quality requirements, and health and safety standards. * Assist with general warehouse activities, including material handling, picking, packing, shipping, and other related duties as required *Qualifications:* * Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, inventory control, or a manufacturing environment is preferred. * Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in receiving and inventory transactions. * Ability to read purchase orders, packing slips, shipping documents, and product information. * Basic computer skills and ability to work with ERP or inventory management systems. * Good organizational, communication, and time-management skills. * Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately. * Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team. * Forklift certification and experience operating material-handling equipment is an asset. * Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials as required. * Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
