*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and reliable siding installer to join the OXE Team. This role involves installing various types of siding on primarily residential homes, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for those looking to develop their skills in exterior building installation and contribute to quality construction projects. *Responsibilities* * Measure, cut, and install siding materials (Vinyl, LP, James Hardie) * Use hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, and levels to complete installations * Perform moderately heavy lifting of siding boxes/panels and related materials safely and efficiently * Apply caulking around seams and joints to ensure weatherproofing and durability * Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe work environment * Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards *Experience* * Prior experience with siding installation or exterior construction preferred * Strong knowledge of hand tools, construction practices, and carpentry techniques * Handyman experience or general construction background is a plus * Experience with caulking, sealing, and finishing exterior surfaces is advantageous This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and possess the necessary skills to contribute effectively to our construction projects.
