Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio. Tasks: Shampoo customers' hair. Shave and trim beards and mustaches. Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages. Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair. Hair styling techniques: Blow drying. Spiking. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Experience: No experience (will train). Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
