· Setting up and breaking down each morning's breakfast buffet, ensuring buffet items such as fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items remain well-stocked, maintaining the safety and appearance of the buffet area, and cleaning the area in preparation for the next day. · Replenishing cutlery, plates, sugar caddies, and condiments, light to moderate food preparation, refilling beverage containers, mopping, wiping, and sweeping. *· Cleaning breakfast and lobby area on daily basis.* · Help guests - you?ll be happy to help if someone needs help or directions for example · Safety aware ? follow our established safety procedures at all times - and wear protective equipment when needed · Be organized - keep on top of supplies and amenities and always try to minimize waste · Reunite items with owners ? and log any lost and found property · Look smart ? wear your uniform with pride · Other ad-hoc duties ? unexpected moments when we have to pull together to get a task done · Monitor and control supplies and amenities, and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping · Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service. · May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects · May assist with other duties as assigned. *What we need from you* · It?s a physical role and you?ll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important · Strength ? with occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and or push/pulling heavy objects · You?ll need to bend and kneel to complete some activities · *Flexible attitude to shifts ? you are required to work every weekend and/or holidays* *· Shift hours are 6.30 AM to 11.30 AM on weekdays and 7.00 AM to 12.00 PM on Weekends.* Job Types: Part-time, Full-time Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour Ability to commute/relocate: * Calgary, AB T3J 4V7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Work Location: In person Location Calgary , AB Work location On site Salary $ 16.00 to $ 17.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10229912022 Various locations Calgary, AB
