Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy. Load and unload goods. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform preventive maintenance. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports. Bill of lading. Driver logbook. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Maintenance and repair reports. Trans-border documentation. Trip reports. Communication systems experience: Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. Transportation/travel experience: International. Security and safety: Valid passport. Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Drug test. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel cross-border.
