Job description *Rapol Inc *is an expanding Welding Automation Company based in Woodstock Ontario. We are global supplier of premium Welding Positioners, Turning Rolls, Lathes, Turn Tables, and various machinery to automate manufacturing. *Tasks:* * Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures * Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. Cut material using automatic saws and prepare for fabrication) * Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded & post weld clean-up * Align components and clamp pieces * Weld components using mig welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead) * Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws *Job Requirements:* * Proven experience as welder / fabricator * Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures * Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, tape measure, calipers etc.) * Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings * Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.) * Quality workmanship, efficiency and ability to work independently * Professional Certification (e.g. an CWB welding certificate) will be a plus * All candidates must possess a valid G driver?s license *Opportunities:* * Overtime * Continuous Education/Training * Job growth * Flexible Work Schedule _Only candidates whom have been chosen for interview will be contacted.
