Swift Datoo LLP is a well-established law firm located in Courtenay, B.C. We are looking for a full-time legal assistant to join our team. Your skills and knowledge would include: * Familiarity Supreme Court Rules * Strong background in drafting, filing, and serving Court documents * Attention to detail * Preparing correspondence * Being organized and having the ability to work to strict deadlines * The ability to prioritize and work on several tasks at one time * Experience in wills, estate administration­ and estate planning are considered an asset but not required * Current experience with relevant computer applications preferred along with the ability to learn other software related to the position You will have strong communication skills, be willing to learn, and have the ability to work effectively with a team and independently.
