Zen Physiotherapy is looking for an experienced and professional *Front Desk Receptionist* to join our team at our Burlington clinic. Position Requirements * *Previous Canadian work experience is required.* * *Previous front desk/reception experience at a physiotherapy, rehabilitation, chiropractic, medical, or healthcare clinic is required.* * Excellent customer service and communication skills. * Professional and friendly manner when dealing with patients. * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. * Experience answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing patient inquiries. * Experience with clinic booking/practice management software is an asset. * Ability to process payments, handle insurance information, and maintain accurate patient records. * Strong computer skills, including email and basic Microsoft Office applications. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Reliable, punctual, and professional. Key Responsibilities * Greet patients and provide a welcoming front-desk experience. * Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries. * Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments. * Manage patient check-in and check-out. * Process payments and issue receipts. * Assist with insurance and billing-related inquiries. * Maintain accurate patient information and clinic records. * Communicate effectively with physiotherapists and other clinic staff. * Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area. * Support the clinic team with general administrative duties. Qualifications *Mandatory:* * Canadian front desk/administrative experience. * Experience working at a *physiotherapy or medical/healthcare clinic*. * Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. *Preferred:* * Experience with physiotherapy clinic scheduling and billing. * Knowledge of extended health insurance procedures. * Additional healthcare administration experience.
