\*Posting on behalf of a thriving Winnipeg company\* The Senior Bookkeeper will be responsible for supervising the junior finance team members. Duties include cost reporting and accounting, managing payroll, preparing and overseeing audit/review engagements. Responsibilities: * Manage and review weekly payroll. * Manage petty cash. * Review and oversee weekly bank reconciliations. * Prepare monthly GST returns. * Review and oversee monthly intercompany reconciliations. * Prepare weekly cost reports for the teams, bank reporting, and monthly cost reports. * Monitor budgets, analyze expenses and cost reports and forecast estimated final costs. * Review of all accounting records to ensure all costs have been appropriately recorded including the allocation of Manitoba labour. Minimum 3 years of managerial experience and 6 years of accounting experience.
