Be part of a multi-disciplinary QUALITY ASSURANCE / CONTROL team supporting a mix of fixed and rotary-wing aircraft within Aircraft Services Directorate (ASD). ASD is an Aircraft Maintenance Organization, an Aircraft Training Organization, and Design Approval Organization of the Canadian Coast Guard.The AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE INSPECTOR, QUALITY ASSURANCE provides expertise in interpretation and provision of functional guidance to headquarters and regional staff on policies and procedures for the control of operations and maintenance for both fixed and rotary wing fleet of aircraft. The Inspector plans and carries out scheduled and random audits, and leads investigations and reporting on aircraft incidents and accidents to determine the causal factors.The Inspector plays a key role in assessing the effectiveness of policies and procedures for the control of aircraft maintenance and Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) licensing within ASD.
