*Job Summary* We are seeking a motivated and dependable Truck Delivery Driver to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods from our warehouse to various store locations, ensuring timely deliveries and excellent service. Description: The Truck/Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely transporting merchandise from our main warehouse in Charlottetown to Discounters store locations across the Maritimes. Key Responsibilities: * Load and unload merchandise safely and efficiently * Deliver products to stores throughout PEI, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia * Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules * Complete delivery paperwork and obtain required signatures * Inspect loads to ensure products are secure before travelling * Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns * Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures * Assist warehouse and store employees with loading and receiving deliveries * Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle * Represent Discounters in a friendly and professional manner Qualifications: * Valid driver?s licence appropriate for the delivery vehicle * Clean driver?s abstract * Previous truck driving or delivery experience is preferred * Able to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds * Comfortable using a dolly or pallet jack * Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently * Strong communication and organizational skills * Willing and able to travel throughout PEI, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia * Must be available Monday to Friday during daytime hours If you are a dependable driver looking for steady weekday employment, we would love to hear from you!
