housekeeping room attendant

Homewood Suites by Hilton is seeking a dynamic housekeeping room attendant to join our team. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining a clean and appealing guest room according to policy standards. Reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor and the General Manager. Works under general instructions to prioritize and complete assigned tasks. · Part-time position. · Hours of shifts are 8 am-4 pm. · *Weekend availability is mandatory.* · Days off will vary from week to week depending on business that week. · *Please note that position requires applicant to have a reliable form of transportation as public transportation is limited in our area.* *DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Change bed linen daily. · Vacuum carpeting. · Dust all furniture (picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TVs, dressers). · Remove fingerprints and smudges (i.e. mirrors, shiny surfaces, windows, etc.) · Thoroughly clean the bathroom area?wash shower stall, sink, floor, toilet, etc. · Adhere to brand standard cleaning requirements. · Make sure that the standard room set-up is complied with. · Report all damage found in a room immediately. · Report all missing items in a room and any personal guest items found in vacant rooms immediately. · Notify housekeeper of all roll-a-ways or cribs in rooms for pick-up and storage. · Responsible for pass key and ensuring it is turned in daily. · Ensuring all ?lost and found? items are turned in to Executive or Assistant Housekeeper immediately. · Shut off all lights, TVs, and air conditioners when leaving room. · Assist Housekeeping Supervisor and General Manager with any additional cleaning chores that may be assigned. *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:* · High school graduate or equivalent. · Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English *BENEFITS:* - Hilton Hotel benefits after 6 months - Extended Health Care benefits after 6 months Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $17.60 per hour Benefits: * On-site parking Work Location: In person Location Waterloo , ON Work location On site Salary $ 17.60 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10229377194 Various locations Waterloo, ON
