Triangle Steel is currently seeking a full-time *Structural Steel Plate Fitter* to join our team: *Job Duties include but not limited to:* · Read and interpret blueprints and complete required fitting-related duties * Ability to complete and document visual QC self-inspection of work according to required quality standards and customer specification * Grind, stamp, cut, and drill metal * Operate various types of equipment, including overhead cranes, grinders, welding machines, measuring / testing equipment, cutting torches * Perform other related duties, when required *Requirements:* * Applicants must have structural steel and plate fitting experience * At minimum, registered as an Apprentice Structural Steel and Plate Fitter * A valid Driver?s License preferred * Basic rigging course, and/or certified overhead crane operator an asset * WHMIS * Fit for duty, and able to lift to 30 lbs. * Registered apprentice as a welder or journeyman welder certification with FCAW experience preferred Ability to commute/relocate: * Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * structural steel plate fitting: 1 year (required) License/Certification: * registration - Apprentice Structural Steel and Pipe Fitter (required) * Class 5 Driver's License (required) * WHMIS Certification (preferred) Work Location: In person _We thank all applicants for their keen interest in working for Triangle Steel.
