As a leading supplier of premium stone products, we take pride in delivering quality products and dependable service ? and we value the people who help us make it happen. _*JOB DESCRIPTION*_ We are seeking a dependable Excavator Operator to support daily operations at our rock quarry. This role involves safely and efficiently sorting stone materials into specific size categories and performing general quarry duties. The ideal candidate will have excavator experience and be confident operating it as part of daily operations. Prior experience working with landscape stone is an asset, though training will be provided on our products, processes, and site requirements. A strong work ethic, a team-first attitude, and a focus on safety and reliability are essential for success in this role. _*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*_ * Operate excavators to shape square stone for retaining wall applications * Sort and organize stone to meet size and quality specifications * Support daily quarry operations to maintain productivity * Perform routine equipment checks, maintenance, fueling, and greasing * Follow all safety procedures and site protocols * Take on additional responsibilities as skills develop _*QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS*_ * Minimum 3 years of excavator experience is required * Experience operating other equipment is an asset * Physically capable of demanding tasks, including equipment and screen deck maintenance * Strong team player with clear communication skills * Positive attitude and dependable work ethic * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety * Open to constructive criticism _*LOCATION*_ The quarry is located approx. 15 minutes from Cranbrook, BC. _*HOURS*_ * Full-Time * Monday-Friday (occasional Saturdays as needed) _*WHAT WE OFFER*_ * $30-$35/hr, dependent on experience and skill * Benefits after probation _*HOW TO APPLY*_ Send your resume to info@cdstone.ca.
