Jadee Meat Products is located in Beamsville, Ontario and is an established and growing food processing company. Our team is actively seeking an experienced, honest, energetic and hard-working individual to fill the full-time role in our Maintenance Department for the day shift (6:30 a.m. ? 3:00p.m.). *Responsibilities* * Set-up equipment prior to production start-up. * Troubleshoot and maintain plant equipment and machinery. * Upkeep of Building Facilities. * Inspect the materials and tools inventory and place orders when needed with the assistance of the maintenance supervisor. * Ability to use tools and equipment required to perform the work (e.g., hand and power tools, etc.) * Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. * Develop and follow maintenance procedures. * Work with outside contractors * Other related duties *Essential Skills* * Ontario Red Seal Industrial Mechanic Licensed Millwright and/or Electrician tickets * Secondary school diploma or equivalent - preferred experience in a maintenance role. * Problem solving ability; recognize, assess, report, and provide solutions. * Excellent organizational skills and record keeping ability. * Strong attention to detail. * Maintain good working relationships with all co-workers and contractors. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs if necessary. * Successful candidates will be able to work well independently and, in a team, setting. * Satisfactory attendance and former employment history.
