As part of the Donald?s Fine Foods network, the company works collaboratively with processing and distribution facilities throughout British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan to ensure customers receive safe, high-quality products and reliable service. *Responsibilities* *Leadership & Employee Relations* * Lead, coach, and engage unionized warehouse, shipping, and receiving employees to achieve operational objectives. * Provide daily direction, training, performance coaching, and development opportunities to team members. * Conduct performance reviews and manage attendance, performance, and discipline in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and company policies. * Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative work environment. * Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. *Warehouse Operations* * Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory control, storage, picking, shipping, and product movement. * Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are processed accurately, safely, on time, and in full. * Coordinate workflow and staffing requirements to meet operational demands and customer expectations. * Monitor warehouse capacity, product flow, and storage practices to maximize efficiency and space utilization. * Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies, inventory variances, and operational issues. *Inventory Management* * Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation processes. * Ensure proper storage, rotation, and handling of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods. * Work closely with Production, Planning, and Procurement teams to ensure inventory availability while minimizing waste and excess stock. * Analyze inventory performance and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy and inventory control. *Safety, Food Safety & Quality* * Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health & Safety regulations, company safety policies, and safe work practices. * Lead safety initiatives and promote a culture focused on incident prevention. * Ensure compliance with HACCP, CFIA, BRC, customer requirements, and company food safety policies. * Maintain warehouse operations in an audit-ready condition. * Ensure all products and materials are handled, stored, and shipped according to quality and food safety standards. *Customer Service & Operational Performance* * Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure service expectations are met. * Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, inventory accuracy, productivity, and customer service. * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as required. * Manage warehouse labor and operating costs within established budgets. * Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product flow throughout the facility. *Qualifications* * Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred. * Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered. * Minimum *3-5 years of supervisory experience* in warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics operations. * Experience working in a *manu Location Edmonton , AB Work location On site Salary $ 60,000 to $ 70,000 YEAR annually Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10228655241 Various locations Edmonton, AB
