Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools. Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs. Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials. Brush waterproofing cement or other material over insulating materials. Remove asbestos, ceramic fibres, lead and mould and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years. Employment terms options: Day.
