Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Cold/refrigerated. Tasks: Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions. Prepare production and other reports. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Supervision: 16-20 people. Process control and machine operators, food and beverage processing. Testers and graders, food and beverage processing. Regulations knowledge: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Flexibility. Organized. Team player. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Employment terms options: Overtime required. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .
