Monette Produce is seeking Seasonal Farm Operators to support our vegetable harvest operations from September to November in Outlook, Saskatchewan. This is a harvest position that requires a strong commitment during the peak harvest season. Harvest is weather-dependent and time-sensitive, requiring extended shifts, weekend work, early mornings, late evenings, and, at times, multiple consecutive days of work. Candidates must be willing and able to meet these demands throughout the September to November harvest period. This role is centered around the safe and efficient operation of agricultural equipment to support all aspects of harvest. Farm Operators play a vital role in harvesting vegetables, transporting crops and materials, preparing fields, and ensuring equipment is operated safely and efficiently to keep harvest operations on schedule. What You'll DoOperate a variety of agricultural equipment, including tractors, forklifts, and harvest machineryHarvest vegetables and transport crops, materials, and supplies between fields, storage facilities, and production areasPerform field operations such as cultivation, field preparation, and other seasonal tasks as assignedConduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair requirementsKeep equipment clean and maintained to a high operational standardAssist with loading and unloading harvested product and farm materialsSupport warehouse and harvest operations when equipment is not in useFollow all farm safety, equipment operating, and food safety procedures What You'll BringPrevious experience operating agricultural equipmentMechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and report equipment concernsAbility to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced agricultural environmentReliable, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a teamWilling and able to work long hours during harvest, including weekends and periods where operational demands may require working more than seven (7) consecutive daysMust have valid class 5 license and your own reliable transportation to commute to and from the main warehouseClass 1A license is considered an assetWe are looking for individuals who take pride in operating equipment safely, maintaining machinery to a high standard, and contributing to a productive harvest season.
