*Position Summary: * Floradale Feed Mill Ltd. is seeking a skilled, safety-conscious, and dependable Part-Time AZ/DZ Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely loading, transporting, and delivering animal feed to farms and customer locations in an accurate and timely manner. This role requires a strong commitment to safe driving, careful attention to delivery details, and friendly, professional customer service. The successful candidate will help ensure reliable deliveries while representing Floradale Feed Mill positively in the community. *Responsibilities: * · Safely and professionally operate assigned AZ- or DZ-class trucks. · Complete and document pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections. · Safely access the top of the truck when required to complete assigned loading, inspection, or delivery-related duties. · Report vehicle defects, equipment concerns, or required repairs promptly. · Treat customers and members of the public courteously and respectfully, providing excellent customer service. · Keep the assigned truck, cab, compartments, and delivery equipment clean and ready for use. · Complete a final load check to confirm the correct feed products, quantities, compartment assignments, weights, and delivery details. · Properly load, secure, transport, and unload bulk or bagged animal feed. · Follow all delivery instructions provided by dispatch, the customer, or the customer?s sales representative. · Safely operate delivery equipment, including augers, hoses, blowers, controls, tarps, and doors. · Maintain accurate driver logs, load weights, delivery tickets, inspection reports, and other required documentation. · Promptly communicate delays, delivery concerns, equipment issues, or customer requests to dispatch or the Logistics Manager. · Follow assigned routes, transportation requirements, customer-site procedures, and farm biosecurity protocols. · Obtain any required customer confirmation before leaving the delivery location. *Qualifications:* · Valid Ontario AZ or DZ driver?s licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle. · Acceptable driver?s abstract and a strong record of safe and responsible driving. · Knowledge of vehicle inspections, safe loading, load securement, and defensive driving practices. · Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities and meet delivery schedules. · Ability to work independently, follow detailed instructions, and contribute positively as part of a team. · Professional communication skills and a customer-service-focused approach. · Ability to learn and use dispatch tools, electronic logs, GPS, and company systems. · Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment. *Required Minimum Experience* · Minimum three years of commercial driving experience. · Previous agricultural, bulk feed, pneumatic, auger, or farm-delivery experience is considered an asset. *Feed Assure / HACCP Responsibilities* · Follow all Feed Assure, HACCP, sanitation, biosecurity, and cross-contamination prevention procedures during loading, transportation, and delivery. · Maintain the cleanliness of feed-contact surfaces and delivery equipment. · Complete all required feed-safety and delivery documentation accurately. · Immediately report any product integrity, contamination, seal, or delivery concerns to the appropriate supervisor. *Health and Safety Responsibilities* · Comply with all applicable health and safety requirements, company safe-work procedures, and health and safety initiatives. · Use all personal protective equipment and fall-prevention or fall-protection equipment required for the task. · Use designated access points and follow all required fall-prevention and fall-protection procedures when climbing onto, accessing, or working on top of the truck. · Follow safe-work practices when loading, unloading, operating delivery equipment, and work Location Floradale , ON Work location On site Salary $ 26.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Part time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10228572262 Various locations Floradale, ON
