We are currently looking for a skilled, versatile, and autonomous Residential Carpenter / Charpentier-Menuisier to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities Execute a wide range of residential renovation and structural modification projects (framing, finishing, layout modifications, and repairs). Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and project specifications. Install framing, drywall backing, subflooring, interior trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, and exterior elements as required. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety standards, and Maja Construction's quality guidelines. Work independently on assigned tasks or collaborate effectively with crew members, subcontractors, and project leads. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times. Requirements & Qualifications Experience: Proven experience as a carpenter in residential remodeling and structural renovation. Autonomy: Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as effectively within a team environment. Mobility: Must possess a valid driver's license and own a personal vehicle/car to travel to various job sites across the Greater Montreal Area. Skills: Proficiency with standard hand and power tools; strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Language: Functional communication skills in French and/or English.
