*Citrus Kids | Nanaimo, BC* *Part-Time* About Citrus Kids Citrus Kids is a locally owned children's boutique in Nanaimo offering a carefully curated selection of baby and children's clothing, footwear, toys, gifts, baby gear and dancewear. We're a small, busy team that takes pride in creating a welcoming, personalized shopping experience for every customer who walks through our doors. The Position We're looking for a *friendly, dependable and motivated Part-Time Retail Sales Associate* to join our team. This is a great position for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, takes initiative and is comfortable balancing customer service with the day-to-day tasks that keep a retail store running beautifully. *Current availability required:* * Wednesdays, 10:00 am?5:00 pm * Fridays, 10:00 am?5:00 pm * Additional casual availability is an asset What You'll Do * Provide warm, knowledgeable and helpful customer service * Assist customers with clothing, footwear, gifts, baby products and dancewear * Process purchases and returns using our POS system * Receive, unpack, price and merchandise new inventory * Restock and organize merchandise throughout the day * Keep the sales floor, displays and back room clean and organized * Help create attractive displays and maintain store presentation * Assist with online orders and order packing * Learn about the brands and products we carry so you can confidently help customers * Work independently and recognize what needs to be done without always being asked * Support the team with other day-to-day store tasks as needed * Create dynamic and engaging social media content Who We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is: * Friendly, approachable and confident speaking with customers * Reliable and punctual * Self-motivated and able to take initiative * Organized and detail-oriented * Comfortable working independently * Able to multitask in a busy retail environment * Willing to learn and receive feedback * Someone who takes pride in keeping a store clean, organized and beautifully presented * Interested in children's retail, fashion, toys, baby products or dance Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset, but *attitude, reliability and the right fit for our team are most important.* Availability Applicants must be available *Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 am?5:00 pm.* There may be opportunities for additional shifts depending on availability, vacation coverage and the needs of the store.
