*Job Overview ? Kitchen Manager * You?ll oversee staff, inventory, production flow, and overall kitchen excellence while fostering a positive, high-energy team culture. If you?re passionate about great food, hospitality. *Responsibilities* * Lead and supervise kitchen staff: hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance evaluations to build a strong opening team. * Oversee all food prep and cooking to ensure consistent quality, flavor, portioning, and presentation aligned with Mega Chicken standards. * Manage inventory: monitor stock levels, place orders, track usage, and reduce waste to maintain efficient food costs. * Ensure full compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness requirements across all kitchen areas. * Coordinate day-to-day kitchen operations including shift scheduling, prep lists, production timing, and service flow. * Implement training programs for food handling, safety procedures, equipment use, and Mega Chicken cooking techniques. * Square POS * Identify issues and implement improvements. * Support management with budgeting, cost control, ordering systems, and menu development. * Build a positive work environment that supports teamwork, accountability, and long-term staff growth. *Skills & Qualifications* * Strong experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management * Proven abilities in inventory control, food safety compliance, and managing efficient production systems. * Leadership experience: supervising staff, running shifts, training teams, and maintaining a productive kitchen culture. * Excellent customer service mindset with the ability to problem-solve calmly during high-volume periods. * Experience in casual dining, fine dining, or catering is an asset. * Ability to manage budgets, track food costs, and implement best practices for kitchen efficiency. * Strong communication skills for interviewing, coaching, and developing kitchen team members. * Solid understanding of hospitality and food safety principles, with a commitment to delivering a great guest experience every time.
