Job Description Job Description We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of schematics and be proficient in various welding techniques. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the process. Duties Interpret and work from blueprints to fabricate components. Perform various welding processes including MIG welding. Utilize plasma cutting equipment to shape metal parts as required. Operate lifting equipment for moving heavy materials. Fabricate metal structures according to specifications, ensuring precision and accuracy. Use power tools effectively for cutting, grinding, and finishing metal surfaces. Employ calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions of finished products. Apply basic math skills to calculate measurements and material requirements. Experience Proven experience in welding and fitting roles. Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings. Experience with plasma cutting, machining, and operating power tools is preferred. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
