Examine adult clients to assess hearing loss, recommend type of hearing instrument, take earmold impressions and perform follow-up examinations and readjustments. Examine the patient. Follow through on treatment programs with patients. Make decisions on tests and procedures. Administer evaluative tests and procedures. Clean and maintain equipment. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies. Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use according to standardized safety practices. Maintain clinical and progress reports. Maintain inventory of equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Licensure by a provincial/territorial regulatory body for Hearing Instrument Practitioner. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office. Area of specialization: Audiology. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Hand-eye co-ordination. Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
