Electrical/electronics maintenance and repair technology, other. Tasks: Install equipment. Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation. Maintain equipment. Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements. Service equipment. Test power equipment and systems . Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports. Write specifications. Assist in inspecting, testing and adjusting electronic components. Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments. Conduct safety training programs. Assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications. Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems. Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems. Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports. Operate laser cutters. Adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures.
