*Concord, ON* *Arla Foods* _Makers of Tre Stelle & Castello Cheeses_ *The Job* As a *Cheesemaker *with us, you will manufacture and produce a variety of specialty cheese products according to prescribed recipes and formulations while ensuring daily production, quality, warehousing, and safety objectives are met or exceeded. This role is currently on the *afternoon shift (approximately 3pm-midnight)*, with flexibility required to work different shifts as needed. *Must-Haves* * Minimum 2 years of dairy industry experience in a related production role * Minimum high school diploma; post-secondary education in Food Technology or a related field is an asset * Experience measuring, mixing, and adjusting ingredients and process controls including pH, temperature, sampling, and texture * Strong written and verbal communication skills in English * Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift, and handle products of varying sizes and weights * Good manual dexterity and attention to detail * Flexibility to rotate between machines, stations, and shifts * Strong commitment to food safety, quality, HACCP, and GMP standards *You Will* * Assemble, set up, calibrate, and operate cheese-making equipment according to production requirements and SOPs * Measure and mix ingredients accurately following recipes and formulations * Monitor product quality and adjust process controls to ensure product consistency * Operate, maintain, clean, and sanitize cheese vats and related equipment in accordance with HACCP and GMP standards * Complete production, quality, inventory, and safety documentation accurately * Coordinate product changeovers, purging, and cleaning activities as required * Perform safety and quality checks and record appropriate data * Ensure all tools, materials, and product coding are correct before use * Maintain clean and organized equipment and work areas at all times * Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in team meetings * Develop and maintain a basic understanding of HTST systems and processing operations *We Offer* * The wage range for this role is $24.90-$28.73/hour, and will be determined based on skills and experience * Group benefits * Company pension * Opportunity to work with one of the world's leading dairy producers * Career growth and development opportunities within a global organization *Apply Today* This posting is for a current vacancy. *We have a purpose for Good* At Arla, we strive to unlock the highest potential in each other while working together to create a sustainable future of dairy.
