Tasks: Follow sustainable soy farming practices such as crop rotation, reduced-till or no-till, water and nutrient management, precision farming technology and cover crops. Soil fertility programs. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Maintain work records and logs. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Perform general farm duties. Supervision: 3-4 people. 1 to 2 people. 5-10 people. Equipment and machinery experience: Harvesters. Seed drill. Sprayer or duster. Storage and silage system. Tractor. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence.
