hotel night auditor

Responsibilities: - Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and professional manner - Provide excellent customer service to guests throughout their stay - Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints - Process guest payments and maintain accurate records - Perform night audit duties, including reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports - Maintain the security of the hotel by monitoring access and ensuring the safety of guests and their belongings - Assist with front desk duties, such as answering phones, making reservations, and providing information about hotel amenities and surrounding local attractions. - Breakfast prep between 4:30 - 5:45 am in addition to answering phones, checking guests, out and other desk duties. -- Applicants must have post secondary education which means that they have completed a program and achieved their diploma in Business or Information Technology. A degree from University will also be considered. Experience: - Previous experience in hospitality or front desk role preferred - Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally, at all times during your midnight to 8 am shift. - Proficiency in using phone systems and computer software for check-ins, reservations, and other front desk tasks - Previous bookkeeping experience would be an asset in this position where reconciling the days business is an important aspect of this job. This is something we cannot teach. So you must come with an understanding of debits/credits and balancing. Hours: This position involves working midnight to 8 am. It will include weekends as well as nights through the week. As a Night Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. Your attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and ability to handle various responsibilities will contribute to a positive guest experience.
