foreman/woman, construction electricians and repair workers

We are seeking an experienced site foreman to work on the exciting and ever-expanding portfolio of projects in our civil division.Responsibilities:- Provide lead supervision of all workers, subcontractors and vendors;- Provide on-site coordination for all phases of the civil construction projects, including coordinating subcontractors, material, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget;- Control and monitor labor, material, and equipment expenses;- Ensure standards for safe working conditions are observed, specifically all requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act are enforced.- Maintain and enforce good construction standards and quality control;- Maintain a thorough daily report that accurately tracks site progress, events, inspections and other relevant information;- Advise management team of potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties and assist in resolving the problems.Requirements:- Thorough knowledge of civil construction methods, scheduling, and plan reading;- Ability to guide safe work practices in a high-pressure environment;- Experience with contract and subcontract management an asset;- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple project stakeholders;- Working computer proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).- Valid G License to operate company vehicle.- Clean drivers abstractWhy you should apply:- Competitive total compensation package. - Health and dental benefits. - Holiday closures. - Advanced training and opportunities for career advancement.- Deferred profit-sharing plan.- Regular team building activities including BBQ?s and sporting events. - A positive and fun family-oriented environment.
